YnR Social Hour + A call to female entrepreneurs

Posted on June 2nd, 2007 by David Ratajczak.

On Tuesday the 5th, we’ll be organizing another YnR social event. As most readers of this blog know, these events are totally informal and are an opportunity for entrepreneurs to unwind and, possibly, to get each other excited and start companies together. If you aren’t already on the list and would like to be included, please email me (dratajcz AT yahoo DOT com) and I’ll include you. We don’t post the location publicly, not because we’re some sort of elitist club that requires a sign up fee or cover charge, but simply because we want to avoid flooding these events with business service providers (read: pesky lawyers). The events are always free and are from 5:30-8:30. Time and location varies.

For this event and for the coming weeks, we are trying to make a concerted effort to include more women. I am very excited about the popularity of these events, but I am concerned that the group may not be an accurate reflection of the entrepreneurs in Atlanta. If you know of female colleagues or friends who are interested or active in entrepreneurship, please make a special effort to convince them to come and/or sign on to the list for future events.
